Fur Foundation is a Tennessee-based nonprofit organization created to support local animal rescues and shelters through the collection and distribution of essential supplies and financial donations. Across our state, countless rescues work every day to protect, heal, and rehome animals—often with limited funding and overwhelming demand. Fur Foundation exists to help lighten that burden and ensure rescues have the resources they need to continue saving lives.
We collect donations of food, medical supplies, bedding, enrichment items, and monetary contributions and distribute them directly to Tennessee-based rescues where they are needed most. By working closely with rescue partners, we are able to respond to real, immediate needs and ensure every donation has a meaningful impact.

Fur Foundation was created in loving memory of a deeply cherished dog whose life forever changed ours. Through years of caring for him, we experienced firsthand the unconditional love animals give—and the responsibility humans have to protect them. When we lost him, we wanted to honor his life by helping other animals receive the care, safety, and second chances he was fortunate enough to have.
That loss opened our eyes even further to the challenges faced by local rescues: limited funding, constant emergencies, and an endless need for supplies. Fur Foundation was born from the desire to turn grief into purpose and love into action—ensuring that animals in need, and the rescues that fight for them, are never alone.
